Papaya is one of the Top 50 finalists in the European Startup Prize for Mobility!
London, 19th September, 2023 - Papaya Technologies, the company on a mission to electrify European commercial fleets, today announced its selection as one of the Top 50 finalists out of +700 applicants in the prestigious European Startup Prize for Mobility!
Papaya accelerates fleet decarbonisation by solving the fleet industry’s biggest pain points: an opaque supply and fragmented market.
Papaya's marketplace and vehicle management platform, creates a comprehensive ecosystem that aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles. The multi-sided platform serves as a centralized hub, connecting fleets and service providers, enabling operators to optimize costs, collaborate with multiple suppliers, mitigate supply chain risks, and expand operations on a geographical and operational scale.
Since Papaya's successful launch, it has experienced significant global demand, working with industry leaders such as Cooltra, Foodora and Zedify. Papaya is live in multiple countries including the UK, Spain, France and Germany, and plans to continue expanding across every major European country.
Santi Ureta, CEO and co-founder, commented: "We are incredibly proud to be recognised for our innovative work in the field of commercial fleet electrification. This achievement wouldn't have been possible without our amazing team's hard work and dedication. We want to thank the European Startup Prize for Mobility for this unique opportunity. We're excited to move forward to the interview phase and showcase our vision for the future of commercial mobility in Europe and beyond."
Papaya will share more updates and will attend the award ceremony on October 26th at the European Parliament in Brussels.
